DJ Covy has always had a passion for music. At a young age, he sang in honor choir and learned to play guitar and piano by ear. Today he is known as Alaska’s #1 DJ, with a repertoire that includes opening up for artists such as The Ying Yang Twins, and fellow DJs, ATRAK, Wax Motif, and Astronomer. He has played alongside notable DJs, such as DJ EGO, an official DJ on DJ Khaled’s label, “We The Best,” and DJ Trentino, a Red Bull Thre3style US Champion. DJ Covy keeps dance floors moving with his ear for great music. His impressive DJ style is eclectic and energetic and has led him to play for events such as Alaska’s Arctic Comic Con, and for venues like, Miami’s ESPN Bar, The Clevelander and Miami’s Wood Tavern, as well as Seattle’s Amber Restaurant and Lounge. You can catch his mixes on iHeartRadio’s Throwback Drive on 101.3 KGOT, or the Throwback Lunch on KFAT 92.9. His dedication to his craft and his love for music has always urged him to get out of his comfort zone and expand on his skillset as a DJ and entertainer, prompting him to win the Alaska 2018 DJ of the Year Award. Always pushing the limits, DJ Covy continues to be a pioneer for the DJ community in Anchorage, AK.
