Hwy9
Hwy9 is an Alt-Country Rock band based in SouthCentral Alaska with roots in Seward, Girdwood, and Anchorage. Their music consists of upbeat acoustic guitar based melodic progressions on a hard driving percussive foundation, overlaid with searing electric guitar riffs putting the Rock square in the middle of their Country sound and stories. Hwy9 is a live performance band, performing at roadhouses, bars, lodges, restaurants, events, festivals, and private parties across South-central….and to-date all of their recordings are live too, most recently recorded Live at the Afterglow Pub at Arctic Valley Ski Area on February 15, 2020. Their only studio work to date has been to perform house concerts in one……but time will tell….
